As believers we no longer have to carry the weight of our burdens, and we don’t have to carry the weight of our circumstances while we wait.  Jesus said His yoke is easy, His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).  It’s time for a mind shift.

It’s not the weight of our circumstances that we should be carrying as we wait.  It’s the weight of His glory.

What are we are waiting for?  Maybe it’s for a financial release.  Maybe it’s for healing to manifest. Maybe it’s for a loved one to come to Jesus.  Maybe it’s for a life partner. Maybe it’s for the fullness of our destiny to emerge.  It could be many things, but for sure, many of us are in a time of waiting….and waiting….and waiting….and waiting!!!!

There’s a longing in our heart that pulls on us as we wait.  Sometimes it feels unbearable and before we know it, we’re carrying the weight of our circumstances again.  But our beautiful and loving Heavenly Father keeps guiding us back into a place of rest.  It’s in this rest that we can experience the weight of His glory which feels like no weight at all!

There’s something to be embraced as we learn to wait.   He’s growing us.  He’s stretching us.  He’s drawing us.  He’s preparing us.  For what?  Deep down we already know.  We want things so badly sometimes, but if He gave them to us now, it would crush us.  God is preparing us and growing us and doing things in us that we don’t even realize.  He’s Papa God.  He knows best!  He’s changing us before He changes our circumstances.  He’s getting us ready while we wait.

We can experience the weight of His glory while we’re waiting, or we can carry the weight of our burdens while we’re waiting.   Why not experience the full Kingdom mind shift and bask in the weight of His glory while we’re waiting?  It’s His glory that will transform us.  It’s the weight of His glory on our life that will shift the atmosphere all around us.  It’s His glory that will bring the breakthroughs we are longing for. There’s a weight to be found within our waiting, and it’s the weight of His glory!
